Virtua Fighter? On my 360?




Believe it.


Hori's new X360 fighting stick. Looks and feels a lot like the Fighting Stick FS3.


Complete with microphone port. Fear not, stick fans, you'll able to shout racial epithets at the opponent as well as the pad crew!


Graphic quality is on par with the arcade and PS3 versions, and runs at a silky-smooth 60 FPS.

So I took a load of images from the new Version C intro

Unfortunately when I went to go film the whole thing, the current build's movie playback glitch kicked in. Goddammit.


Thus far, it looks and feels a lot like the PS3 original - the interface and such are 100% the same, but there's a whole lotta new options to play with. There's noticeable bugs still, the movie playback is totally screwed up at the moment and the load times are atrocious, but those will obviously be fixed for the final release.

(Also, Fallout 3 looks FANTASTIC and I don't even like that sort of RPG)

Did you get to test the online play any? That's what I'm waiting to see before getting (and maybe a 360 price cut, but don't hold out hope there)

Nope, not enabled. The play options weren't selectable, just there for show.

Ah. Guess it's wait till October. Never had the chance to play this yet. The two chances I might have had were ruined, once by idiots being 6 hours late for 3rd strike, the other time by 4-yr olds...

It's definitely far enough along for a demo to be feasible. There's one on the PS Network already, I wouldn't be surprised if one hit XBL.

Thanks for the post! I'm really curious about this version. I've been loving the PS3 one with the high grade stick.

What did SEGA change in Version C? Is there any noticable gameplay change?

No vf5 demo

There isn't a vf5 demo on the PSN. There is a Kiosk demo for it though. God Sega are lame sometimes...
